Coached many athletes who became All-Americans and Olympians. Francie Kraker Goodridge: 1968 and 1972 Olympian; World Indoor 600-Yard and National Half-Mile Record Holder. Second fastest all-time U.S. 1500 performance for a woman at the Munich Olympics. Lou Scott: 1968 Olympian; Michigan High School Athlete of the Year in 1962 and 1963 running fourth and third fastest miles in the U.S. 1967 Pan American Silver Medalist. Adolf Weinacker: 1948-1952-1956 Olympian; Top U.S. finisher in the 50 Kilometer Walk in the 1952 and 1956 Olympics. U.S. Walking Champion at 15-20-25-30-35-40 and 50 kilometers.
